Tankland - Home of the many fishaloo's.

So other than just learning about the Born of the Phoenix universe let me welcome you into my world so you can get to know me a little bit better (^_^!)

This is Tankland, a tropical paradise for a few select spoiled fish brats. I've always liked small streams, waterfalls, ponds and stony creeks. They're so very interesting! Not just because of the cool plants and little denizens that live in them but because as a little kid I always imagined treasure being hidden there! Though sadly I've never found any, one day I do plan on going exploring for gold and thunder eggs but that's another story.

All up I think I have just over twenty fish in the tank. Phoenix (my disc fish) is the largest and Emperor of the tank, sadly King Chad died, murdered they say by the arsehole snail Frank, but there just wasn't enough evidence to convict haha. That big orangish bristle nose chillin on the leaf there is Chad's girlfriend and one of the original tank descendants. I have four other bristle nose and they do a marvelous job of keeping the tank clean! They also really love to eat cucumber! The rest of the fish are a mixture of small colourful little pretties that I like to watch swim around (I don't know the names I just go to the aquarium and look in all the tanks and tell the nice people there which ones I want by pointing and going oooooh that one's cool) All the plants in the tank are real and I think they help create a really nice environment for the fish (I like watching the plants grow too!)

It's a 100L tank, I've had it for just over a year now but before this one I had a smaller 50L tank, just cold water with gold fish and decided to upgrade to tropical. They've been really easy to look after! Which is great, I feed em brine shrimp. I've got 2 heaters keeping the tank at a steady 26'C. It's nice & relaxing watching them swim around and do their fishy things d(^_^d)
