This is just a pure shout out to my favourite female singer; the most awesome Tairrie.B (^_^!!)
If you're not familiar with her music then you're in for a treat! I started listening to her back in the late 90's when one of my friends let me borrow 'Speak and Destroy' It was awesome! I went straight out and bought it and ever since then, have bought as much of her stuff as I can get my hands on!
Her latest release 'Tairrie. B - Vintage Curses' is playing through my speakers right now, it's an album that takes her back to her hip-hop roots and the album 'power of a woman' she released back in 1989, I like her rap as well as her metal and she even has some spoken word stuff out too, she's a brilliant poet! Smart, thoughtful, brutally honest and just has a real dominant kick arse personality! Her voice is hauntingly powerful and strong! You should give her as listen d(^_^d)
So! The character Tairrie 'the ruiner' that Ravage talks about in the book (from the events that take place in Crimson Sapphires) is a parody of Tairrie.B and she'll make a big appearance in the 2nd novel! The first 'easter egg' of the series!
