Book 2: Misanthropy.

      Below is the synopsis for book 2: Misanthropy. If you haven't read Born of the Phoenix yet, then I probably wouldn't read the synopsis for book 2 because of SPOILERS!!! Huge spoilers!!! seriously, you have been warned!!!!

Ensnared by the ribbons of fate and blessed with divine gifts from the Sea Goddess, Ravage and Patsy continue their journey north into the mysterious and frightening realms of the Fornen Swamp and Trillian Jungle. Traciel, determined to destroy Brackish and the Surangi, ventures to the ancient Drekkar Ruins to awaken a slumbering evil that had, at one time, enslaved all mankind. Meanwhile, a wrath burns within Akella as the scorched ruins of Granston stain her conscience with regret. Vengeance consumes her, yet, there is one whom her mind overlooks; Crystal. Facing deep loss, the once valiant warrior is descending into a mindset of malice and violence. Hatred is a poison that corrupts the soul. The suffering she has endured is twisting her mind and leading her down a dark path of misanthropy.

The story will revolve a lot around Crystal. After her harrowing treatment at Belderra, not only being beaten and burnmed alive but also all the horrible torture she endured at the hands of Osrown (or Kuungroth if you prefer his Gluttonous Reaver name) and then discovering that Johnathon, her lover, has been murdered, sends her into a massively downward spiral. Her hatred of mankind is pretty intense. Ravage and Patsy will play a big role in the book again too, I'm pretty excited to write about the Fornen swamp and Trillion Jungle. Creating the landscape and history for the two areas has been fun. Especially the Trillion Jungle because it has such a great history and holds so many secrets! There'll be more Traciel, more Akella and more Zoe, not to mention that Brackish will also be back and standing beside him will be a famous Josai fairy (^_^!) For fans of Matearla... she'll also be making an appearance! I'm creating some new mystical creatures and other monsters and entities for the book as well. It will also continue to have the same fast-paced action-packed feel to it. I really wanna make the second book an awesome journey into the some of the most dangerous parts of Sapphiron and the human psyche. Great things are on the horizon!!!
